DowSec Elec began over 50 years ago with a simple idea, that good electrical work should be done properly, explained clearly and finished on time. Founded by Damian Dowling, what started as a small local operation in Ormskirk has grown into a trusted name across Liverpool, Manchester and the wider North West, but the values have not changed. Every job still gets the same care and attention, whether it is a single socket in a family home or a full commercial security fit out.

Half a century in the trade teaches you a lot, and the biggest lesson is that the details matter. We turn up when we say we will, we keep sites tidy, and we work with a clinical eye for detail because cutting corners on electrical work is never worth it. Our engineers are fully qualified and certified, and every install is signed off to current UK standards, so you are left with a system that is safe, compliant and built to last.

Over five decades we have looked after homeowners, landlords, schools, offices, retail units and industrial sites right across the North West. Some clients call us for a one off repair, others have had us on retainer for years. Either way, our aim is the same, to be the electrical and security team you can pick up the phone to and know the job will be done right. That is the reputation we have built, and the one we work to protect every day.
